Breast lift surgery, also known as mastopexy, is a popular cosmetic procedure that aims to lift and reshape sagging breasts. In Pune, a city known for its advanced medical facilities, breast lift surgery is available to help women regain their confidence and achieve their desired breast shape.

Overview of Breast Lift Surgery:

Breast lift surgery is an effective solution for women who are experiencing sagging breasts due to factors such as pregnancy, weight loss, or aging. The procedure involves removing excess skin and tightening the breast tissue, resulting in a more youthful and lifted appearance. It can also reposition the nipples for a more natural look.

Breast Lift Surgery Benefits:

Breast lift surgery offers numerous benefits beyond physical appearance. It can boost self-confidence, improve body image, and enhance overall well-being. By restoring a more youthful breast contour, women often experience a renewed sense of femininity and increased self-esteem.

The Mastopexy Treatment Process:

Before the procedure, the surgeon will evaluate your breast tissue, skin elasticity, and nipple position to determine the appropriate technique. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, and incisions are typically made around the areola and down to the breast crease. Excess skin is removed, and the breast tissue is reshaped and lifted. The incisions are then closed, and the breasts are wrapped in a supportive dressing.

This procedure removes extra skin, reshapes and elevates the breast mound and positions the nipples in more aesthetically. It is designed to raise and reshape the breasts that have sagged over a period of time due to many conditions.

Who is a good candidate for Breast lift surgery?

Breasts tend to droop and lose volume as we age (because of gravity), after childbirth and breastfeeding, weight fluctuations and hormonal changes.

What will be the position of scars?

Breast size and skin quality are important factors in appearance following surgery. Breast skin that has good tone will hold the breast in better position. When skin is stretched, some drooping is likely to occur even with the surgery. The greater the droop, more the skin needed to be removed leading to longer incisions and scars. Scars from the procedures can around Areola Nipple complex, vertically down from the nipple, along the bottom of breast or the combinations of the above.Scars depend on multiple factors and their appearance is difficult to predict. We at our clinic provides essential scar care which helps it to soften and fade with time.
