Dr. Ujwal Chirde completed his superspeciality degree from the prestigious SethG.S. Medical College & K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai which is amongst the foremost teaching and medical care providing institutions in India. He mastered surgical skills during intensive hands-on work in this tenure inclusive of efficiently managing related surgical emergencies.
He recognizes the key importance of surgical problems in the context of health priority of the country. He practices the speciality of Plastic surgery in keeping with the principles of professional ethics and standards. He identifies biological, emotional, social and economic determinants of Plastic surgery and know the therapeutic, rehabilitative and preventive measures to provide holistic care to his patients.
He has empathetic and humane approach towards patients, their families and respect their sensibilities. He has communication skills of a high order in explaining management and prognosis, providing counselling and giving health education to patients, families and community.
His training includes surgical procedures related to Cosmetic surgery/Aesthetic surgery, Hand trauma and management of Congenital Hand and other deformities, Maxillofacial trauma/Facial bone fractures, management of Burns, Reconstructive Plastic surgery and Microvascular procedures.
He is also been awarded DrNB Plastic surgery degree by National Board of Examination NBE), New Delhi.

Dr. Ujwal Chirde demonstrate competence in basic concepts of research methodology and epidemiology. He has done scientific publications in International Journals and Scientific presentations in National and State level conferences. He uses appropriate learning resources and critically analyzes relevant published literature in order to practice evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Ujwal Chirde has served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery, K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai. He is proud to have taught and trained Plastic Surgery residents in the art and science of this surgical superspeciality. He currently serves as Assistant Professor and Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon at Department of General Surgery in Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical and General Hospital, Pune for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery related work. He facilitates learning of medical undergraduate & post graduate students, Nursing students and Paramedical health workers.
