Platinum 3 in 1 (Alex + Trio) is an advanced laser hair reduction system which safely and effectively reduce hair growth with a series of easy treatment sessions. The system comes with two probes, Alexandrite and Triple wave length probe, that can be effectively used for hair removal from all the body parts. Laser hair removal works by targeting individual hair follicles with laser light energy that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft. Once absorbed, the laser energy travels to follicle and begins damaging the hair growth mechanisms. Over time, this causes the follicle to stop growing new hair. Platinum 3 in 1 uses advanced built-in skin cooling mechanism to ensure that you remain comfortable and pain free during treatment.

How many sessions are required to achieve the optimal result?
The hair is sensitive to laser treatment during the anagen phase of hair growth cycle; therefore, multiple sessions will be necessary to address all the hair follicles when they are most sensitive to treatment. 4 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart are the minimum required to achieve adequate results. Duration of each session depends upon the body part under treatment. Maintenance treatment maybe required after a year or so to get rid of small vellus hair.
FAQ’s:
- Avoid hair epilation by plucking, waxing for 6 weeks before the treatment
- Sunscreen should be applied 6 weeks before the treatment to avoid tanning of exposed body surface
- Avoid medications that sensitizes (e.g., isotretinoin, minocycline) the skin 6 months before treatment.
- Shave the area before laser treatment, this will provide enough of a target for the laser without dissipating to much of energy in the hair shaft itself.
The machine comes with very effective built-in cooling system which significantly minimizes post treatment pain and swelling. Erythema (Skin redness) is an expected side effect post treatment which usually subsides in 3 to 5 days.
- You can use ice packs to minimize post treatment pain and swelling
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and strict use of sunscreen throughout the treatment period.
- Steroid maybe prescribed to minimize excessive redness and swelling.
